Roaming Radish~Vendor Highlight
One of our favorite parts of being wedding photographers is meeting others just like us. Heather and I are passionate about what we do, so when one of those fortunate moments happen upon us, it’s a wonderful feeling. The Roaming Radish is owner operated by a lovely couple living on Whidbey Island, WA. Just a quick trip on the ferry and a few miles from the terminal and you’ve arrived at a renovated airplane hangar turned gastropub…
Heather and I were commissioned to photograph a small, intimate wedding of just 15 guests at the Roaming Radish. One of the highlights of the experience was being given the opportunity to go as we please throughout the venue; gaining access to the very place where the culinary magic happens, the kitchen! Watching Chef Jon-Paul Dowdell whistle away in the kitchen was an warm reminder of how we feel in our studio… Thoroughly wrapped up in creativity, we somehow felt at home and very much at peace amongst the hustle and bustle as everyone was scurrying about prepping plates and meals for the wedding.
We loved photographing the Roaming Radish, below are some of our favorite images from the day, Heather and I would like to invite you to take a look, hopefully you’ll enjoy the images as much as we do!

One of our favorite images from the day… This wedding was a fantastic collaboration between vendors from the Pacific Northwest. Table rental from Whidbey Event Rentals.
