Ryan and Katlyn

Richard and I had the pleasure of photographing Ryan & Katlyn’s fairy tale wedding at the beautiful Monte Cristo Ballroom, located in the heart of Everett Wa. It turned out to be a sunny, gorgeous spring day and the colors of silver and blush pink were absolutely stunning. Katlyn’s lovely Princess ballroom style gown from Laineemeg Bridal was so light and flowy, we were able to capture it moving in the soft breeze that day.  The white simple cake with stunning details from Edmonds Bakery was also breathtaking and not to mention very tasty.

I asked Katlyn to write a little Bio about how her and Ryan met and below is a little about this loving couple.

Katlyn: “I honestly don’t remember why I thought it would be a good idea to meet a complete stranger that I had found on a dating site. The restaurant that I had picked out for our date was closed and Ryan’s license plate read “IMA CAR”. Things were not looking too good for our first date… However, the second I saw his warm brown eyes and the huge smile on his face, I knew I had not made a mistake by meeting up with this stranger. We had such a great time getting to know each other, and after our date I went straight to my parents house to tell them that I found the man I was going to marry. About a year later, Ryan proposed to me in Whistler, BC. They never tell you how hard it is to plan a wedding, but with Ryan by my side, we managed to plan our fairytale wedding at the Monte Cristo Ballroom.”
