Maplehurst Farms Inspired Shoot

This styled shoot at Maplehurst Farms in Mount Vernon, Washington, uses the beautiful marsala color along with gold to create a glamorous, country-chic vision. This lovely shoot was planned by Cheers Events Wedding Planning and Heather Mayer of Heather Mayer Photographers.
The invitation suite made by the very talented Ck Paper designs, is the perfect collaboration of color and design. White and Gold balance out the striking Marsala and the floral details offer a glimpse of the style that awaits. Maplehurst Farms is a picturesque location, starting with its verdant landscape. The bride and groom are a classic fixture next to a gorgeous dessert table, full of berry, currant, and chocolate creations. This wedding cake is like none other, made by the very talented Tallant House Fine Eats and other Sweets. The top three tiers are chocked full of chocolate and the base is full of white ruffles. The confection is bedecked with grapes, berries, and purple sugar flowers. The fruit in this shoot is more than just a fresh treat. The rich and deep colors are a natural way to extend the Marsala inspiration, both on more desserts and in standalone crystal glassware. One way to gift guests with something they’ll truly adore is with personalized cookies that accomplishes the wedding favor to-do and offers a touch exclusive to your event. These heart-shaped cookies accompany an antique tray of small cakes on a vintage cart. For even more palatable personalization, use cookies as escort cards for guests. Display the beautiful creations on a silver tray for a memorable presentation. The groom sports a gray jacket, dark red shirt, a black tie, and black pants. The bride dons three different looks in this shoot, proving numerous style possibilities. She first wears a corset-style gown by French Knot Couture with an off-the-shoulder wrap that ties in the back. She also wears her hair down in vintage curls and her lovely makeup is by the talented Urbanista Weddings. Next, she removes the wrap to show off the strapless style. She accessorizes with a floral crown full of pink and deep red flowers, thistle, and berries that perfectly match her bountiful bouquet made by Country Bouquets Floral. The groom’s boutonniere also incorporates the berry details, which is so unique and stylish. The tablescape is breathtaking. Rich red vintage plates are truly captivating. They are accompanied by matching red crystal glassware and lace table napkins. A heaping centerpiece, white tapers, and small assortments of berries round out the table’s look for a truly beautiful creation. For a perfect reception look, the bride wears a Marsala colored bias cut gown, exuding 1930s elegance with its long, velvety style, again made by the ever so talented French Knot Couture. Even the trendiest of colors can be classic and timeless. This shoot in Mount Vernon, Washington was every bit the image of vintage-meets-glamour.
