Cave B Winery Wedding

Cave B Winery….

Richard and I were able to drive over to Eastern Washington to the gorgeous Cave B, for the wedding of two of the sweetest people we know. Every part of this day fit Nick and Jennifer so perfectly. The ceremony was on a hillside overlooking the Columbia River and Gorge with their family and closest friends. Not only that, but they put such a huge amount of their labor and love into the wedding. We loved all the little details of this wedding. Jennifer made the very unique origami gold place settings by hand and we love the small air plant that was placed inside. The guests were given a fun basket which included a map, Washington state shortbread cookie, wild flower seeds and other yummy snacks. The welcome note maps and invitations were made by the ever so talented Anchored Paper Company. We also loved the romantic setting under one of the flower arbors where Nick and Jennifer could enjoy a nice chilled Cave B Rose wine, what a cool idea right?!!  Fleur De Lis flowers and design did such an amazing job of making some of the most beautiful organic floral arrangements I have seen, everything was just dripping with some of the most beautiful seasonal flowers and were so perfectly placed throughout the ceremony and reception. Also, check out the gorgeous bridal party table and the chairs from Lake Chelan Rentals, they also gave that perfect organic, rustic charm.

We got a little excited when we saw all the guys wearing customized suits by Mens Wearhouse, they all had their names written on the inside of the jacket. Jennifer wore a jaw dropping Martina Liana wedding gown that she found at Calla Bridal.  Everything about this wedding screamed Romantic and intimate. It was our first time working with Two Birds Events, and let me just say that they were some of the best wedding planners we have had the opportunity to work with and made the day go by so smoothly.

We couldn’t have asked for a more fabulous May Day for these two. It was hard to pick just a few of our favorites from this wedding, but we narrowed it down. We would also like to say how much we love sharing our love of Medium format film; Richard did a fabulous job of capturing the colors and beauty of the day with his talent of film shooting.

A grooms getting room just isn’t complete without some fine Bourbon! Nick and the guys chose to go with a local Distillery; Woodinville Whiskey Co. was a great choice… Custom made suits from the Men’s Warehouse were a nice added touch as well.

One of our favorite parts of photographing at the Cave B are the multiple locations to shoot at. The bride and groom chose to have their first look and some of their artistic pictures taken at the pond located on the property, adjacent to that are some vineyards which are all to conveniently grown with fantastic views of the gorge below!

Cave B Estate Winery is well known for its breathtaking sweeping views of the gorge below; it only makes sense to say “I do” on the cliff overlooking the scenery.

Nick and Jennifer chose the location just outside of the tasting room for their reception. Fleur De Lis did a stunning job on the floral arrangements, Lake Chelan Wedding Rentals added to the floral design with their rustic wooden chairs and tables.

We wrapped up the evening with some artistic shots. Just as the sun was setting behind the foothills it started to rain, the combination of the setting sun and the rain made for some once in a lifetime shots!
