Bellingham Engagement

I just can’t help but add some back story on how we decided to shoot Jesse and Kendra’s Bellingham and Fairhaven engagement. After keeping a close eye on the weather report, we had a pretty good idea that this day would be bursting with sunshine and lots of light. We’ve been waiting for a day such as this to pull out a roll of Kodak Ektar. Ektar is largely known for its beautiful color renditions for outdoor and landscape photography.  Our goal was to underexpose by several stops and have our developing lab push it, effectively resulting in lots of saturation and contrast! Kodak Ektar loves brilliant light and sun rays, and we feel it really stood up to its reputation for this Bellingham engagement session.
